Little Pippy came to live with us on 8/4/03. This was going to be her "foster home" until she recuperated from emergency surgery. When she was well enough, the Lake Cumberland Animal Welfare League would find an adoptive home for her. She was only here a short time when we realized that WE wanted adopt her. So we did. We drug an old crate out of storage, it was old, dirty, dingy, gray. I scrubbed it down, but it didn't help much. And hubby thought it should be put in a room where it wouldn't be seen. But since I want Pippy with me, then her crate needs to also be near me. And I'm in the living room and dining room, so that's where the crate will live. But I decided to see if I couldn't improve upon it's appearance. So I got out a can of spray paint and gave it a couple coats, then prettied it up a bit with a few pansies. Here's the result. |

ABOVE: Pippy took to Richard right away. Her favorite place is tucked in right beside him in his easy chair! LEFT: Pippy loves to burrow down under her covers to sleep. From what I've heard, most minpins have this funny trait. |
